Margaret Sproule After receiving her BA in history (with distinction) from the University of Victoria, Margaret moved to Saskatoon and received her law degree at the University of Saskatchewan in 2017. After working in the criminal justice system for two years, Margaret moved back to her home town of Sherwood Park to complete her Articling year with Strathcona Law Group.
Margaret has always had a keen interest in family law and was coordinator of the Family Legal Project at the U of S and the Family Legal Assistance Clinic in Saskatoon. In addition, she was recipient of the Brad Berg and Brian Rolfes LGBT Rights Scholarship, awarded for involvement in and progression of LGBTQ+ people in law school and the legal profession. Margaret brings a unique perspective to the practice of law, having worked as a Zamboni driver, tool crib operator, bartender, Correctional Officer, tech support worker, and cat furniture assembler. She is an avid lover of the outdoors and can be found snowshoeing, backpacking, camping, and hiking in any number of our nation’s glorious parks with her dog, Charlie.
